Hints:
------
People upgrade their living quarters according to how
attractive their surroundings are. In essence, an Agora
(don't forget the vendors), fountains, fleece, olive oil,
and plenty of cultural diversions are important for
upgrading a Hut all the way to a Townhouse.

To provide "excellent" cultural access to the Hero's Hall,
surround the structure with roads as well as things like
Gymnasiums, Theaters, and an Agora. Otherwise you'll only
end up with "good" access and the hero won't show up.

Fighting an attacking neighbor is not always your best bet.
If you have weak fortifications and no army, surrender and
pay the tribute. You will lose a lot less that way. After
all, you can always build up your forces later and better
yet attack the enemy.

Check the Panhellenic world map early on to see with whom you
can trade. Also keep your eye on potential enemies. Prepare
accordingly. For example, If neighboring cities are hostile,
invest early in fortifications. Also, if trading city-states
must be reached by sea, then construct piers and trade ships.

Hero's Hall:
------------
Sometimes a Hero's Hall must be built in certain places. For example, Thesues'
Hall needs to be built by the palace, surrounded by walls and have good appeal.
On maps where space is at a premium this can be difficult to accomplish. To
get around this, after you have filled the requirements to summon the hero,
and while the hero is on his/her way to the city, you can demolish the hall
and any of the structures you had to build to meet the requirements.
Then, rebuild the hall anywhere that is connected to a road. The hero will
not care and will serve your city as usual.

Easy monster kills:
-------------------
Instead of worrying about building the Hero's Hall to slay monsters, use
the Fireballs from Heaven code to shoot fireballs at a monster. One hit
and the monster is slain.

Winning battles:
----------------
If one of your rivals is about to attack you in one month, save the game.
When the enemy arrives, fight them. If you lose, load that game again (without
saving it). You should now have the opportunity to fight them again. The next
time they come, bribe them (if possible). If you cannot bribe them, fight them
again. If you lose, load the game again. Fight them until you win, then save
the game.

Earthquake:
-----------
If an earthquake happens and the land is no longer able to be built on, use
the Fireballs from Heaven code to rain fire over the affected land. Then,
clear the land as normal and you can now build freely upon it.

Raid the city then conquer:
---------------------------
If you had to conquer cities, for example if you play in the last episode of
The Trojan War, it is best to raid the strongest city. After awhile, once your
army strengthens again, attack it. You will have a better chance of conquering
it. If you attacked a weaker city and succeeded at conquering it, one of your
strongest rivals will overtake it. It is best to raid, then conquer your
rival(s).
